What apps can you use to create Instagram highlight covers?

There is Canva which in terms of highlight covers production is actually easy to use eventhough the options are limited in terms of styles you can produce for free.

If you want to be in control of your aesthetics without limits you are best experimenting with Canva, as its the ultimate user friendly software great for making Instagram highlight covers.

Make your free account with canva.

Create a new image sized as an Instagram Story (1080 pixels wide by 1920 pixels tall) or just search Instagram story highlight cover in the search bar.

Select the style you like and experiment with different colours and illustrations to get the desired covers.

Another user friendly app for creating Instagram highlight covers is Story art.

I feel this is the easiest app to use and least time consuming, to make the highlight covers!

You simply create an account via your Google account, search the basic highlight covers and hey pronto you will be able to create even more easily Instagram highlight covers.

The basic black and red highlight covers i have created are created with Story Art and the other two were created with Canva.

Depending on your needs you can use either app to create some beautiful highlight covers for instagram, just play around with the app and unleash your creativity.

Once you have edited and saved all the variations you wanted, it’s time to set them up on your bio.

How to set up Instagram highlight covers

My favourite Instagram update is that you no longer need to upload the highlight covers to your story but can edit the cover directly to add the you already created or downloaded.

Go to your Instagram profile and tap on the highlight cover you want to change.

Press on the MORE section on the right.

Press on edit highlight, then press on EDIT cover and select the image icon to choose the one you want to upload.

Hey presto, your highlights will be done and your profile will start to look more aesthetically appealing.
