Their Foreo see-through packaging just oozes luxury from the get go, putting in full display the Foreo Bear and Bear Mini.

When it comes down to the Foreo Bear vs Bear Mini contents, both devices offer a great range of contents.
The Foreo Bear unlike the Bear Mini offers a travel pouch.
They both offer:

The design
In terms of design difference there are a few notable differences. However, they both have the Foreo characteristic smart Sweedish design.
The Smart Swedish design offers contoured edges which glide effortlessly on the face countours as well as a futuristic design.
I find the design of these facial microcurrent devices irresistible.
The Bear has this comfortable concave design whereby its really easy to hold the devices whilst carrying out your treatment. The Bear Mini is more rounded outwards.

*the 90 uses per charge are based on 1 minute treatment times.
The Charging time
The Bear by Foreo Sweden takes approximately an hour to fully charge.
The Bear Mini by Foreo Sweden takes 1 hour and a half to fully charge.
I was really impressed to see how quick it is to charge both devices and how long the battery life is.
Routine suitablility
This is one factor which is so important to me. How can I sustain using the Foreo Bear vs Bear Mini with consistency.
I find it hard to commit to long treatments and that’s where Foreo come in and really knock it out of the park.
Both the Foreo Bear and Bear Mini offer a 3 minute treatment time. A quick efficient way to stay consistent in your skincare routine.
The microcurrent treatment should only be carried out once within 24 hours.
The fact that the facial microcurrent treatment takes only 3 minutes makes me more likely to reach out for the device.

Microcurrent intensity levels
When it comes down to the difference in microcurrent intensity levels, the Bear by Foreo Sweden offers 5 intensity levels and the Bear Mini offers 3.
The reason why the Foreo Bear offer 5 intensity levels is because it was designed to target all your face and neck whereas the Bear Mini has 3 intensity levels to tackle targeted areas.
You can operate both devices on two microcurrent modes: basic and pro.
The basic mode is recommended for regular use which helps with collagen production, elastin repair and a glow facial.
The pro mode is recommended for an extra boost of tighter and brighter skin.
If you select the Start massage Option on the app you will find that the Foreo Bear offers 10 microcurrent levels and the Bear Mini offers 6 microcurrent levels.
Pro Tip
You’ll be surprised how powerful level 5 is on the Bear! I don’t recommend level 5 intensity on the forehead area, so when you move to this area of the face adjust the intensity to 3 as the skin on the forehead is so thin.
Foreo App connectivity
The Foreo app is so useful it allows you to:
- Register your device and it’s warranty.
- It allows you to personalise your treatment by adjusting all the intensity levels.
- It gives you guided facial routines which come under treatments.
- It has a find my device feature which when activated allows the device to vibrate loudly and find it.
- It shows you how much battery life remains
- It gives you how to care for the device instructions as well as how to use it.
- You can find all the devices information on it.
- You can also replenish your stock of skincare products or shop for other Foreo devices.
Bear in mind however that you can operate the Bear devices manually too.
How to use the Foreo Bear and the Bear Mini
Using the Bear devices is as simple as, following the blow steps.
- Start off with a clean and dry face and neck, make sure to cleanse by applying the a cleanser that has no oils, I personally use the Foreo Micro-Foam Cleanser. You can use a gel cleanser or a foam cleanser.
- Make sure you Bear device is dry and your face is totally dry and free of oils.
- Apply the Foreo SERUM SERUM SERUM to the areas you want to treat or a water based serum.
- Ensure to allow your skin to absorb the serum prior to using the device.
- Access the Foreo app to access different intensities and workout plans. Set your T-sonic pulsations on or off and set your microcurrent intensity. Then press start.
To use the Bear without the app:
- Press the universal power button to activate the Bear or Bear Mini.
- To adjust the intensity quick-press the button once for each level. The lights beneath the button will indicate the microcurrent intensity.
- To adjust the T-Sonic pulsations double press the universal button to turn it off. (With the app it’s even easier)
*if the device intensity lights illuminate it means the device is on, if there is no sound the T-sonic pulsations are definitely off.
The facial microcurrent treatment steps
- Reapply the Foreo SERUM SERUM SERUM in sections of the face.
- Press lightly the metallic spheres and gently glide them across your face and neck with the Bear and glide them on your face with the Bear Mini. (start from the jaw and work your way up)
- Make sure both the spheres are on the skin and work in a gentle upward motion.
- Once your facial toning treatment has finished, press & hold the button for 3 seconds to turn the device off.
- Clean with an alcohol wipe the device to get any conductivity gel off.
- Tone and hydrate the skin.
- You can also use the Foreo UFO Smart Mask device to complete your facial treatment.
How to clean the Foreo Bear and Bear Mini
Cleaning your microcurrent device after useis very important, simply:
- Rinse the device with soap and water.
- Dry it with a towel.
- Use Foreo’s silicone cleaning spray.
This process ensures that the device is maintained properly.
My experience with the Foreo Bear vs Bear Mini
My experience with both the Bear by Foreo Sweden and the Bear Mini has been one that I truly enjoyed.
In terms of design both facial microcurrent devices sit comfortably in my hand and have a great grip, making the treatment even easier to carry out.
The fact that Foreo uses a silicone body for the device it makes it not only more hygienic but also gives it a better grip.
The design is flawless on both the devices and if I had to choose only on the basis of the design I would struggle because I love them both.
Operating both the devices is so easy and I love that you only have the universal power button in oppose to plenty of more buttons.
In terms of technology I am amazed at how much tech is incorporated within them.
I prefer using the Foreo microcurrent devices with the Foreo app as it makes it so easy to operate.
The Bear by Foreo Sweden is ideal if you want to carry out a microcurrent treatment on your whole face and neck.
However, the Bear Mini by Foreo Sweden is designed for a targeted microcurrent treatment of the smile lines, jaw, cheek bones and frown lines.
I tend to use Foreo Bear Mini 3 times a week and the Bear once a week.
I find that the Bear is so powerful and I prefer using the Bear Mini as I tend to have more targeted concerns rather than whole face concerns.
My favourite feature of the Bear and Bear Mini is both their T-sonic pulsations which make it even more relaxing and the Anti-shock system which helps eliminating the zapping discomfort.
I am also impressed with the battery life of both devices! I find it hard to commit to skincare and the fact that the battery lasts longer helps because I’m never in that predicament whereby I run out of battery and can’t wait long for the battery to charge!
After regular usage I truly noticed a difference in my skin and to be honest the before and after shots below speak for themselves.
