The Lux Skin Hot & Cold Face Wand is my absolute favourite Lux skin device. If I had only to choose one, I wouldn’t be able to resist buying this.
This skincare cool is the ultimate anti-ageing wand which incorporates LED Light Therapy, Hot and Cold Therapy and Sonic Vibrations.

The Lux Skin Hot & Cold Face Wand comes in a ready to gift packaging.
Unlike, the other tested previous devices this comes with a charging pod which you can also use as a stand for your skincare tool.
The technology
A small device with a whole lot of functions, it includes:
- Red & Blue LED Light Therapy
- Heating Therapy
- Cooling Therapy
- Max Heat is 42ºC / 107ºF
- Max Cool is 11ºC / 52ºF
- The Hot & Cold Face Wand has several modes to select from: clean, moist, mask and lift.
How to use the Lux skin hot and cold wand
The devices has an ON/OFF switch which also allows you to choose the following modes:
- Clean
- Moist
- Mask
- Lift
Then the middle button allows you to choose either the heated mode or the cooling mode.
The final button is divided in two and you can choose with the top half red or blue LED. The bottom half allows you to choose strength of the pulsations.
Once you have set up your preferred mode depending on your skin.
Use the device till it automatically switches off at the end of the treatment.

Lux Skin Acne Patches
Last but not least, here are the Lux Skin Acne Patches. I love having acne patches for emergencies.
The LUX SKIN® Acne Patches designed to tackle spots and reduce their appearance as soon as you have a breakout.
These are tea tree oil-infused hydrocolloid patches that you place over spot/pimple.
These come as a pack of 24 patches.
Why I love the Lux Skin Acne Patches
The reason why I love the acne patches:
- Hardly noticeable when applied.
- The easiest overnight spot treatment.
- These contain tea tree oil which reduces inflammation and heals it faster. It also relieves itching and keeps inducing bacteria at bay.
- Easy to apply.
The Tea Tree Leaf Oil is great also on sensitive skin.
The results
The trick is not squeezing that spot when you get it and applying the acne patch on it.
Leave it on overnight and in the morning, the redness and swelling would have lessened.
Still make sure you never go try and pop the spot as it will make it inflamed.

The final verdict
Lux skin all in all for this pricing is actually incredible. I cannot fault the design and ease of use at all.
The results like all skincare devices are noticeable after continued use, that’s why I opted to test them for a month first before spilling the tea on these.
My absolute favourite was the Lux Skin Hot and Cold face wand that’s one I really recommend buying.
