We were soon able to find out that this will yet again be another sensational hit.

Huda Kattan has been so open about her skincare journey and adult acne, so much so that she decided to put her skincare knowledge into creating a skincare line like no other.
I think that the fact that she had to go through a skincare condition like acne will really help design products which could help skin conditions.
The Wishful brand is cruelty free, sulphate free, paraben free and pthalate free.

Wishful skincare packaging design
When it came to Wishful’s aesthetics they went for a minimalist design with eye popping colours.
The colour design range includes, yellow, green, teal and silver.
In terms of packaging, Huda Beauty opted for the holographic theme mixed in with bright colours.

The Huda Beauty Wishful skincare range at the moment is slowly growing in terms of type of skincare products available.

The first product released was the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub.
I will never forget seeing that eye popping yellow tube with silver holographic writing. We were all super excited, a new product line all together.
A Scrub as a first release is a brilliant marketing strategy as there are not many brands who try their hand at scrubs.
Scrubs are tricky to get right but when they do they work wonders.
What are the benefits to using a scrub?
A scrub is brilliant for toning and smoothing the skin.
Picture it removing all the dead skin and dirt, revealing your natural beautiful skin.
It will allow to improve the overall look of your skin and aid skin regeneration.
This will make sure that your make-up application will be flawless thanks to a smoother base.
I remember when I had dull and dry skin. I really couldn’t understand why I had flakey patches of make-up.
I made a discovery that totally changed my make-up game. Scrubs act as exfoliators and remove all the dirt and dry skin to unveil a smooth base.

Also I think that when it comes to new skincare it’s always best to try some before purchasing a full size one to ensure your skin feels comfortable with it, so the mini size is a brilliant alternative.
As you can see the packaging is beautiful and I love the holographic theme it’s very much Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde style.
The outer packaging is which with a silver minimalist logo, whilst the actual scrub tube is yellow with its minimalist design logo.

The 40 ml sized Yo Glow retails at £18.00 and the 100 ml sized retails at £34.00.
The Yo Glow texture and formula
Let’s face it, when it comes down to skincare what truly matters is what is inside the tube.
The Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub is a gentle yet effective exfoliating scrub. It is infused with pineapple and papaya enzymes, as well as BHAs and AHAs.
To be honest, a lot is packed into this exfoliator so much so that it should be able to provide you with that very much promised skin glow.
The Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub formula is that of a light and milky texture.
I have combination skin which is sensitive, so when it comes down to scrubs I am extremely cautious as my skin can have adverse reactions to skin products.
The Wishful Yo Glow is revolutionary as it provides 3 in 1 results. My skin felt smoother, more bright and my complexion was clearer after continued use. Most importantly I did not develop a reaction to it.
The formula is milky and light but yet is able to remove the dead skin cells and remove it, so that you have the perfect canvas for make-up application.
You need to remember that for perfect make-up application you need to remove all impurities and dead skin. So that your make-up will not appear flacky.
How to use the Yo Glow
Using the Yo Glow is so easy, just:
- Apply a good amount to clean and dry skin.
- Massage the Yo Glow in circular motions on the face and neck.
- Avoid the eye area.
- Rinse with warm water and pat it dry.
My experience with the Huda Beauty Yo Glow
When it comes to scrubs , I am wary as my skin is very sensitive. Unfortunately most scrubs are not gentle. So I braced myself for a disaster waiting to happen.
I applied a coin sized amount of the Wishful Yo Glow on my skin and lathered it with water.
I could literally see pieces of dead skin that had bonded to the scrub, that got me so excited. It was so satisfying watching these white clumps as of skin was being easily and gentle rubbed off.
For me the real test to this scrub was washing it off and seeing if my skin had reacted.
My skin indeed had NOT reacted. As a matter a fact my skin had a Yo Glow to it for sure and unlike other scrubs my skin was visibly hydrated and not dry!!!!!
The Yo Glow was definitely a success , it delivered that much promised glow.
In terms of skincare formula, I loved how it didn’t dry my skin out.
How many times a week should I use the Yo Glow?
I recommend using the scrub only 1 to 3 times maximum a week depending on your skin type.
Exactly as you would do with a skin treatment, giving your skin the time to bounce back and regenerate after this micro peel.
I really don’t recommend you using any scrub daily too.
The Wishful skincare by Huda Beauty is to die for.
The Wishful Chin lift sculpting sheet mask
This particular sheet mask was designed to help those who are retaining water under their chin, so when your chin appears with some puffiness.
Again as per the Yo Glow the Chin Lift is jot something that is widely available in other brands and is quite unique.
Huda Beauty found another opportunity in the skincare market.

The Chin lift comes in a green envelope with the typical Wishful holographic minimalistic logo.
Once you open it, as you would open a mask you will find the innovative lifting chin mask.
The Wishful Chin Lift Sculpting Sheet is truly unique in it’s structure, an eye popping green chin strap.
The Chin strap has two holes on the side so that you can put it round your ears and holds snuggly your jawline and chin.
How does the Huda Beauty Chin Lift work?
It works so that it is able to tighten and define the jawline.
The Chin Lifting Sculpting Sheet mask is securely snug so that it is able to deliver a blend of skin plumping enhancers.
Huda Beauty advises you to wear it for 20 minutes, luckily the chin lifting sheet mask is very comfortable as it is made out of a unique lifting tape of waven cotton which allows it to be elastic enough to feel nice and tight enough to deliver the nutrients to your skin.
The Chin Lift formula
The mask formula is like that of a serum, it is infused with the peptide acetyl hexapeptide-8, this particular peptide is brilliant for drawing out hydration so that the chin area looks lifted.
The Chin lift sculpting sheet mask contains niacinamide to tighten skin and lessen fine lines. Also includes. adenosine to provide moisture and pepermint to freshen skin and lessen redness.

My experience with The Huda Beauty Chin Lift
I was really excited about this one, it’s been all over Huda Kattans social media.
It’s a brilliant product also because it is so affordable too. However, bear in mind it’s a one use product.
I applied and it was quite comfortable, after 20 minutes I removed it and my jawline looked hydrated and snatched, so not bad at all.
I do find that this chin mask is more suited if your jawline naturally holds a lot of water.
However, after doing some research online if you do hold a lot of fluid under your chin multiple sessions would be needed for a noticeable change.

The Chin Lift will help those of you who need that much needed TLC to your chin and jawline.
If you are looking for something that through continued use can help reduce the water retention in your jaw this may help.

I was surprised that when I opened the cleanser jar it looked like a Teal butter.

I couldn’t believe how easy it was to remove my make-up using the Clean Genie.
I didn’t have to scrub the make-up away, it simply felt as if it melted everything off.
My skin looked still very hydrated and most importantly clean.
This jar will last me a long time, there’s so much product within it.

This Huda Beauty moisturiser has been released today and let me tell you it is unique!

If you know Huda Kattan, you will be aware that she has been creating her own all natural DIY home skincare for years.
