I’m so excited to reveal to you what is included this month and most importantly whether or not these products are worth the purchase.

Mermade hair UK blow dry brush
Mermade hair UK never ceases to impress me with their hair tool range. I have previously tested out their Pro 32mm waver in pink and I absolutely loved it.

Today we are testing out the Mermade hair UK blow dry brush. I am a big fan of blow dry brushes as the right design brush can give you a true salon finish.
The packaging
As per the Mermade hair branding , the packaging is this beautiful soft pink with a holographic finish. It is absolutely to die for!
What truly matters however is the design of the brush and if it’s fit for purpose.
The design
This blow dry brush design is exactly what you would need to get that salon blow dry.
The barrel of the Mermade blow dry brush is a unique oval shape and is quite large measuring 60mm.
The blow dry brush has ionic technology to ensure shine and protection.
The part I was most impressed about was it’s flexible tangle free bristles that not only allow the hair to get a good grip but also ensure that smooth blow dry!!!!
The design is faultless with one simple slide up power button. It has a low and high heat setting.
I can’t believe how light the brush is too which makes it even more comfortable to use.
My experience with the Mermade Hair Blow dry brush
I was very impressed with the Mermade hair blow dry brush because it is just so pretty but most importantly it performed amazing on my naturally wavy hair.
The power of the blow dry brush was surprising and made the whole blow out process even easier.
There are two ways to use the blow dry brush, the first is to start off with towel dried hair and the later consists of being able to refresh your blow dry in between washes.
It performed great in both instances and it has become a staple in my hair styling routine.
This is most certainly a great way to get a salon blow dry in the comfort of your home.

How to use the Mermade Hair Blow dry brush
Using the Blow dry brush is simple:
- Wash your hair and towel dry it.
- Apply the heat-protectant Mermade Mist.
- Section the hair with the Mermade Grip Clips.
- Place the oval brush at the root of your hair and brush away from the head always rotating the brush. This method will give you that bouncy salon finish and volume.
- Finish off with either your hair oil or hair spray.
- You can also use the blow dry brush to refresh your blow dry in between washes and the results are outstanding.
GOKOS Brow Color eyebrow pen with powder
The GOKOS Brow Color eyebrow pen with powder is a vegan, gluten free and fragrance free brow powder. It comes as a dual ended brow type pencil.
On one end is an eyebrow spoolie and on the other is a soft tip dispensing brow powder.
The GOKOS Brow Color eyebrow pen with powder comes in three different shades:
- Light
- Medium
- Dark
The brow powder can be slowly built up for the type of effect you are looking to achieve.
*Bear in mind that every time you need some more of the powder you will have to close the cap and reopen it to dispense more of it.
Because this was my first time using such a different application method it did get some getting used to.
I think that this formula is good for those who want to create ombré eyebrow effects but can also be used to create a normal eyebrow.
I recommend using a brow concealer to define your brows after you used it as the eyebrow applicator does not provide that definition.
Nonetheless, it worked well on my sparse brows.
Pietro Simone The Fierce collection Imperfection diminisher
The Pietro Simone The Fierce collection Imperfection diminisher comes in a beautiful pippet dropper which is classic for peel based formulas.
The Imperfection diminisher peel has the role of:
- Exfoliating
- Improving the skin texture
- Diminishing blemishes and pore size
- Reducing blackheads
- Aiding skin regeneration
- Brightening your skin
- Deep hydration
Skin condition targets
It also targets the following skin conditions:
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Scars
- Enlarged pores
- Excess sebum or skin oils
It suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin however it should not be used in people below 14 years of age. It’s always recommended that you seek advice from your dermatologist.
The formula
The consistency of the Imperfection diminisher is watery and has a light blue colouration.
The formula contains :
- Azelaic acids and Salicylic acids to exfoliate the skin.
- Beta Glucan and copper gluconate to soothe and calm the skin.
How to use the Pietro Simone Fierce collection Imperfection diminisher
The best method of using the Pietro Simone peel is by using it as part of your night time skincare routine by:
- Cleansing your skin.
- Apply 1-2 full pipettes to the face and neck.
- Leave the Imperfection diminisher for 2-4 minutes (you can leave it up to 8 minutes if you are an expert in peels).
- Rinse the peel thoroughly with water.
- Use SPF after the peel application.
This peel should only be used a maximum of twice a week depending on your skin type. I personally use it once every two weeks as my skin is quite sensitive.
I did find I did experience redness as it’s a peel and generally peels get your new skin out.
Heire hot wax kit and strip wax kit
The Heire wax kits are developed by professional waxing specialists in order to achieve that smooth wax in the comfort of your home.
Heire has two different wax kits:
The Heire Hot Wax Kit
The Heire Hot Wax Kit is a 3 step kit to be used mainly on the face, underarm and bikini area.
It comes inclusive of:
- 2 pre wax wipes
- 2 post wax wipes
- a large bamboo spatula
- a small bamboo spatula
- 85g of hot wax palettes
- a microwaveable jar
The formula is vegan and has a vanilla scent to it which leave your skin smooth and smelling beautiful.
The Strip Wax Kit
The Strip wax kit is a 3 step kit with a precision removal design. It should be used on the legs, backs, cheats and toes. It is not for the face, underarm and bikini waxing areas.
The Strip Wax Kit comes inclusive of:
- 20 large wax strips
- 20 small wax strips
- 2 pre wax wipes
- 2 post wax wipes
I particularly enjoyed the design of these wax strips as the have an S shaped pull grip and are easily pulled off the skin.
The final verdict
The Made Inc Gifting suite November x Cosmetics Queen Box is a great treat for sure.
My hair, skin and eyebrows were left looking amazing. All this was achieved at the comfort of my own home.
Although, I enjoyed using all the products include in the Made Inc beauty box , my favourite item was the Mermade hair UK blow dry brush.
I truly recommend it’s purchase especially with Christmas coming up! It definitely makes a great gift idea.
