The Zoeva Melody collection is a butterfly theme inspired make-up collection created with the upper most delicacy.
It’s butterfly theme represents the butterfly transformation. With this Zoeva collection you will be inspired to transform your look, depth shades which are so soft and beautiful.

The Zoeva Melody collection packaging
This collection has my favourite packaging out of all the Zoeva cosmetics collections.
The outter casing of the palette is a matte gold tone, with beautifully placed iridescent butterflies.
The packaging design is exceptional and it literally screams buy me!
They went all out on the packaging with it’s high quality and finish. As soon as I saw the announcement of this collection I was instantly set on buying it.
The Melody collection packaging is so perfect for those like me who love stunning packaging.
In terms of marketing they have really nailed it with this Zoeva collection.
Let’s start of with the center piece of the collection:
The Zoeva Melody collection eyeshadow palette
My first reaction when I opened my Zoeva package, was one I didn’t expect. I was really taken back from how beautiful the packaging is.
I ccouldn’t get enough of it, my excitement was through the roof, it actually looks better in real life that on pictures.
Did ZOEVA release the best palette of them all? Yes, this is the best Zoeva palette ever created!
Can you believe that if I were to choose my own shades, I would choose the exact 10 shades that are within this palette.
The Melody collection palette contains ten fabulous shades.
The colour story of this palette is part of the warm tone palette spectrum.
Warm tone palettes are a must as soon as spring and summer hits, the mettalic shades complement our tans. However, the best part of all these shades is that they blend perfectly with the autumnal seasons and winter too.
So forget having to throw this palette in a drawer with the change in seasons.
This palette is a great all rounder and perfect not only for glamorous looks but also for everyday use.
What I noticed in other latest released brands is that they don’t have great transition and dark shades in the brown part of the colour spectrum.
The Zoeva Melody collection palette has the most complete colour story I have come across.
But it doesn’t end here we still need to see how the colour pay off is and if they are easily blendable.
The Zoeva Melody collection shades range from a porcelain pink to a rich espresso! Exactly my cup of coffee may I add.
When I look at the shades I feel that lightness that the butterfly displays and that elegance in its look.
This palette is a little undiscovered gem you won’t be able to resist buying.
The Melody ZOEVA collection palette includes 10 creamy eyeshadows.
The eyeshadow shades differ in consistency:
- 4 shades are matte
- 2 shades are satin
- 2 shades are duochrome
- 1 shade is a shimmer
The best part of this palette is that the shades included are truly versatile. You have enough different shades consistencies to easily create a make-up look.

The first row of this palette includes:
Gowns Swirling
This is a porcelain pink with glitter in it. The colour payoff is impeccable, one swipe and boom there it is in its full glory.
A sparkling off white with a tint of pink and glitter shine.
It performs as well on the eyelid as it did swatching.
This shade is very pigmented and I advise using it on the inner corner of your eyelid, on the lid or even the brow bone.
Airy Dalliance
This shade is a satin metallic apricot which sparkles just the right hue of bronze.
I couldn’t believe how smooth this shade is when it’s swathed and equally outstanding on the eyelid.
It’s very easy to blend and the colour payoff is impeccable.
I would use this shade on the my whole eye lid.
Gentle Clasp
This is a Satin Lilac shade with glitter.
Being very pigmented, the swatch colour pay off is sheer perfection.
Used on the eyelid the colour payoff is great too and I love how beautiful it looks when I applied it all over my lid.
You can apply this shade also on the inner eye corner or the middle of the lid to create a halo effect.
Depending on the brush brand you use it may well pick up the product more efficiently, Zoeva cosmetics have an outstanding collection of brush sets.
Cocoon of Doubt
This colour is a satin antique gold shade.
The colour payoff is mind blowing on this one. It is the most beautiful golden tone I own not only in terms of colour payoff but also shade wise.
Not only you can use this shade on your eyes but I used it as a highlighter on my face and eyebrow bone.
Fly Solo
This is a matte cool ash brown shade.
The fact that you have a cool ash brown in this palette is brilliant because it makes the perfect transition shade.
Browns are so useful in order to create dimension on your eye during make-up application.
The colour payoff is great on this shade too and easy to blend to create the perfect look.
I love that unlike other browns I have previously tested on other palettes is not patchy at all.
I happily use this shade as a transition shade and also on my lower lash line.
I also like to spray my brush with make-up fixing spray and use this brown with a flat eyeliner brush to create a brown eyeliner for an effortless and easy eyeshadow look.
The second row of swatches of the Melody collection palette
From Heaven
This shade is a Duochrome rose satin base with icy blue shift.
The great thing about Duochrome shades is that they look fabulous applied on the entire lid or the inner eye corners.
When the light reflects on a Duochrome you have the added benefit of getting two shades within one.
The colour payoff again is great as per all the other shades.
The incredible shades of ice blue and rose in their full glory as the light hits it.
Whirled Above
This shade is one I would describe as a Matte sandy brown sugar one.
I adore how pigmented this shade is, making it the perfect eyeshadow to use on the otter corners of the lid to create that deep dimension on the eye.
It is an easy shade to blend and it great when you want to blend out the darker shades on the Melody palette.
Crystal Wings
This is Duochrome rust-red satin base with a golden green shift shade is one that can look on the bronze spectrum of colours.
It is a mettalic shade that is great when used on the entire lid of for a halo effect in the middle of your lid.
This colour is the epitome of luxury and as per all Zoeva palettes, their metallic shades are unbelievable.
I would simply even wear this on its own on the whole lid with some mascara on the lashes.
Soul Unheld
This is a Shimmer golden honey bronze shade again its part of the metallic spectrum of shades in the Melody palette.
This is a great colour for the summer season as it will exentuate your tan.
I find that this is a multi use shade, it can be used on its own on the lid, to create a halo effect or even a beautiful cut crease.
About to Leave
This shade is a Matte rich espresso brown, a must have shade fit for every occasion.
It will help you build depth, dimension and striking eye make-up looks.
A very dark shade is always a must in a palette because with this shade you can play layer by layer and create beautiful eye make-up looks that are NOT flat!
Again, you can use it as an eyeliner if you spray your flat eyeliner brush with fixing spray.
It’s always brilliant for the lower lash line and outter corner of the eyelid.
There is a widely known trick that after you apply the darkest shade go in with a transition shade like, Fly solo, to smooth out your dark edges. This will make your eye make-up look more beautiful, don’t forget to blend out the dark under your bottom lash line to create a seemless finish.
If you are worried of the Zoeva Melody collection palette not suiting your skintone you are highly mistaken because this palette is fit for any skintone and that’s the beauty of it.
Can you tell from my shots how easy they are to swatch?
The ZOEVA Melody palette shades are all highly pigmented, easy to blend making this the best Zoeva palette.
I love that the palette doesn’t contain parabens nor perfume.
This palette is produced in Italy, so we are talking about the best quality production and standards.
The best Zoeva Palette for brown eyes and green eyes is this one, but then again as you will be able to notice it works wonders on all eye colours.

I do feel that you are better off getting the entire Zoeva Melody collection set if you are a fan like me, as the entire set only retails at £68.00.
The Melody Make-up Mirror
I was so excited when I spotted this handheld mirror as part of the Zoeva Melody collection.
Finally a brand that was bring out a beautiful mirror that I really thought was worth buying.

Can we just appreciate how the casing of the Melody Make-up mirror is matte! This is a life saver when you are filming yourself for instagram or YouTube as the lack of shine from the mirror will not distract your viewers by shining off the light.
Again the branding is consistent with its butterfly inspired theme.
As you can tell I find the butterfly theme of the Zoeva Melody collection irresistible.
When it comes down to hand held mirrors, the quality of the mirror and the actual reflective mirror is so important. They nailed this too!
The Zoeva Melody Make-up mirror is high quality, the finishing of the mirror reflects the butterfly theme and it makes the best travel make-up mirror.
The Melody Make-up mirror is a limited edition piece which I couldn’t miss owning.
As you can tell it looks incredible when photographed or filmed so if like me you are a beauty blogger or beauty enthusiast you won’t be able to resist this purchase.
A lot of the times, when I find myself retouching my make-up or travelling, this is the perfect accessory to take with me when I am on the go.

The price is reasonable if you consider that Jeffree Star’s simple design retails at double this.

I find that lip glosses with a silver sparkle work well on cool tone skin and also to create stellar looks.

This shade screams summer to me and if you want to go over board you can use it on your eyelids to create those glass wet make-up looks that grace the covers of Vogue.

I suggest that if you want all of the shades you opt for the Melody collection set as the overall price is lower.
Zoeva Melody collection palette make-up look
I created a look which definitely embodies the ZOEVA Melody collection concept.
I wanted to create a cut crease make-up look fit for any event that will definitely blow people’s minds.
I used most of the shades and as you can see the final look was outstanding.
My lips were topped off with the “becoming a butterfly” lip gloss which gave it that extra kick.

As you can see from my eye make-up close up, this look ia soft and elegant with a degree of depth exactly as the palette colour story.
I was able to get the perfect blend and a look Instagram worthy look.
THE FINAL VERDICT
I am blown away with the quality of the ZOEVA Melody collection.
The Melody collection palette by Zoeva is a must-have make-up palette.
The palette is so versitile wether you want to create simple make-up looks or you want to create glamorous make-up looks.
The quality of the pigments is outstanding, they are richly pigmented.
I have very sensitive skin and the Zoeva make-up was gentle on my skin, I didn’t get any reaction nor skin staining from the pigments.
The eyeshadows in the Melody collection are extremely easy to work with and to blend.
Even a make-up novice would reap the benefits of using this palette.
I love that it is a well rounded palette with a different selection of shades types inclusive of duochromes ,mattes , stain and shimmers.
This is the best Zoeva palette I have purchased this year as these are the shade I would use on a daily basis.
Making the Zoeva Melody palette the best everyday palette choice so far.
When it comes down to the mirror I would definitely say it’s worth the purchase as it is a piece you won’t be able to do without.
The “becoming a butterfly” lip gloss is luscious and I love the sensuality it exudes.
I will be looking into purchasing the other 4 lip glosses soon.
I am utterly besotted with the ZOEVA Melody collection as a whole not only in terms of quality but also in terms of price point.
I am so impressed with how affordable this collection is considering the quality of the products.
