Natural White Teeth Whitening Review: Before & After Results
I’d been considering getting my teeth whitened for a while, so when I booked in for teeth whitening at Castell Luxe Aesthetics in Littlehampton, I was excited to see how much difference it could make.
I decided to try the Natural White teeth whitening system, which is designed to brighten your natural tooth shade over three 15-minute whitening sessions.
And the results? This whitening system is gentle on the teeth and legally complaint to UK standards. Hence the teeth won’t be super white but rather subtly white which is perfect if you are trying to avoid the whitening pain from sensitivity.
My husband decided to join me, so we could compare both of our results. His teeth started at shade S30 and finished at S12, while mine went from S12 to S8.
Here’s exactly what happened during our teeth whitening appointment, how the Natural White system works, what the treatment felt like and whether I’d recommend it.

For me, one of the things I liked about the experience was that the treatment was straightforward and didn’t feel overly complicated. The whitening itself is carried out in three 15-minute sessions, making the appointment fairly easy to fit into your day.
How the Natural White Teeth Whitening System Works
The treatment involves a few different stages, which are repeated as part of the whitening process.
Step 1: Brushing with the abrasive paste
The first stage is brushing the teeth with an abrasive paste.
This helps prepare the surface of the teeth before the whitening treatment.
Step 2: Applying the activator
Once the teeth have been prepared, the Natural White activator is rubbed onto the teeth.
Step 3: Gel and UV mouthguard
The whitening gel is then applied and the mouthguard is put into place.
The mouthguard uses UV light as part of the whitening process, and the first 15-minute session begins.
After 15 minutes, the process is repeated for the next session, followed by a third 15-minute session.
So, in total, you’re having 3 x 15-minute whitening sessions.
How Much Whiter Can Your Teeth Get?
One thing I really liked about this treatment was being able to see the change using the tooth shade guide.
Everyone’s teeth are different, so your starting shade and final result will vary. In my husbands case the difference was noticeable, whereas with mine it was really subtle and could only be seen if comparing shades on the chart.
It won’t make your teeth overly white so that you won’t experience severe pain associated with teeth whitening.

That’s an impressive 18-shade movement on the shade guide.
Seeing the shade chart before and after made the results much easier to appreciate than simply looking in the mirror. Sometimes it’s difficult to notice a gradual change in your own teeth, but having the starting and finishing shades recorded made the difference much more obvious.

Going from S30 to S12 made a huge visual difference to his smile.
Was the Treatment Painful?
One of the things I was most curious about before having my teeth whitened was whether it would be uncomfortable.
The treatment itself was straightforward, and the 15-minute sessions went by fairly quickly. The process was also broken up into three stages rather than one long session, which made it feel much more manageable.

The actual whitening consists of:

So that’s 45 minutes of whitening time in total, alongside the preparation and application stages.

Another thing I really liked about the Natural White system is that you don’t necessarily need to have another full whitening treatment every time you want to freshen up your smile.

This makes sense if you’ve already had your main whitening treatment and simply want to bring your teeth back up to their brighter shade.
Over time, things like tea, coffee, red wine and other staining foods and drinks can affect the appearance of your teeth. Professional whitening results also vary between individuals and can fade over time depending on lifestyle and tooth characteristics.

My Overall Experience
Overall, I was really pleased with my teeth whitening experience at Castell Luxe Aesthetics in Littlehampton.
The treatment was simple to understand, the three 15-minute sessions made it easy to manage and, most importantly, we could see a measurable difference using the shade guide.
My teeth went from S12 to S8, while my husband’s went from S30 all the way to S12.
For me, the biggest advantage is that you’re not necessarily committing to another full treatment when you want to maintain your results. The option of returning for top-up teeth whitening sessions makes it much easier to keep your smile looking brighter.
