The Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2 % BHA Liquid Exfoliant was on my radar for quite some time!

The formula
This is a leave-on exfoliant which is gentle and lightweight.
This formula contains:
- Salicylic acid/BHA which helps get rid of dead skin both on the skin and within the pores. This reduces breakouts and blackouts as well as soothing the skin.
- Green Tea extract which soothes the skin, protects it acts as an anti-oxidant as well as act as an anti-ageing agent.
- Methylpropanediol which is able to hydrate the skin leaving a smooth and dewy finish. It also promotes the absorption of the salicylic acid.
The texture
The texture of this BHA exfoliant is a lightweight fragrance free liquid.
I was impressed with how quickly it’s absorbed by the skin.
This is the 118ml size which is actually Paula’s Choice full size which tends to retail at £29!!! So you are already getting your moneys worth on just one product.
Skin concern target
This particular Exfoliator is aimed at combination and oily skin.
Its great for those who suffer from blackheads, breakouts, enlarged pores, redness and acne prone skin.
If you are looking for Anti-ageing exfoliation properties this exfoliating agent is brilliant.
On the other hand if you suffer from dry skin type, you should opt of AHAs instead.
How to use the Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2 % BHA Liquid Exfoliant
The best way to use the Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliator is to use it by:
- First double cleanse to ensure you start off with clean skin.
- Soak a cotton pad with the exfoliating liquid and apply it gently on the face, eye area and neck.
- Do not rinse this formula
- If you apply it in the morning make sure you apply SPF 30+ after.
- If you apply at night follow with your night skincare routine.
How many times should you use Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliator?
As per every skincare product its best to start off by using it once every 2-3 days to see how your skin reacts to it.
If you have healthy skin you should opt at using it twice a day, if not once a day or once every two days will suffice.
How much exfoliator should you use?
Only use a small coin amount as it will be more than enough. If you use more your skin will be extremely dewy.
My experience using this Exfoliator
The Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2 % BHA Liquid Exfoliant is so fresh and light.
The skin immediately scoops it up and instantly looks more radiant, less red, the pores look better and the skin feels smoother.
I love that it has anti-inflammatory properties as my skin is very sensitive with redness and didn’t react but the redness improved.
I’m curious to see the difference in my skin after a month of usage! But I will definitely update you.
Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara
I couldn’t believe that Agora actually included the full size of the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara.
This retails at £24.00 for 8ml of mascara and you’ll get it for next to nothing if you do the calculations.
This is known to be the best mascara ever!!!
It has the innate ability to make lashes thicker, longer and more curled without making those awful dreaded clumps!!!

The Too Faced packaging is so pretty and the mascara and wand are contained in a very high quality sturdy design.
The formula
The Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara contains:
- Film forming polymers which lock your curl into place.
- Acacia Senegal tree extract which gives your lashes volume.
- Peptides which hydrate your lashes.
The mascara wand
Not only is the formula important but the mascara applicator is what will really make the difference by being able to apply the mascara on the lashes effectively.
How to use the Too Faced mascara
To get the best results make sure you follow my instructions below:
- Start off with clean lashes
- Coat with the mascara wand the lashes from their base to their tip starting from the inner corner lashes to the outter corner!
- Make sure you ONLY apply one coat of mascara on both eyes.
- Then for your second coat start from the base of the lashes and wiggle the wand on the tip.
- Voilà visibly longer lashes without having clumpy lashes!!
My experience using the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara
My experience using this mascara has been a god send!
I have short to medium lashes and when I don’t want to wear lashes this does just the trick!
It makes my lashes actually look long, curled and more voluminous without that ugly spidery clumpy effect!! The best mascara you will ever buy!!
I highly recommend it and it performs better than any other mascara I’ve tested so far!

The final verdict
I must admit that this is the coolest edit of the Agora Edit I have received so far.
