It’s a pleasure to bring you a Plouise Oh so Browtiful review, complete with everything you need to know to help you decide wether to purchase it or not.
I’ve been trying to find the product that works best for my eyebrows. So I’m taking you through this journey with me.
My eyebrows have gone through that overplucking phase and have never grown back as they used to be. So finding the right eyebrow product for me is so important in my quest for beautiful brows.
Plouise cosmetics are known for their revolutionary products and vision. Finding a gap in the make-up industry and producing a product that for sure visually you won’t be able to resist is what they excell at.
Plouise’s fame arose with the release of the world famous Plouise base. An eyeshadow base who has the ability to bring out the potency of eye pigments even in the most sheer eyeshadows.
Since then Plouise has been releasing other product ranges which include: eyeshadow palettes, eyebrow products, lip products and even eyeshadow paints.
The important part is testing out the products and assessing whether or not the product is worth the purchase.
The Oh so Browtiful packaging
The Oh so Browtiful packaging screams buy me especially if you are a fan of pink and gold.
The collection is inspired by food packaging but with an explosion of pink.
The Brow set comes enclosed within a coffee style packaging and the colour story is pink with gold in true Plouise style.
In terms of packaging, I couldn’t resist buying this product.
Oh so Browtiful shade range
The Plouise eyebrow sets come in the following shade ranges:
- Hazelnut Latte
- Mochacchino
- Espresso
The shade range is very basic and there are ONLY 3 different shades to choose from.
They are all shades which are on the brown colour spectrum one is a light brown, the other is a medium brown and the last shade is very dark brown.
I noticed that the brown shades are that type of brown which doesn’t have that red/ginger hue to them.

The Plouise Oh so Browtiful eyebrow set includes:
- Oh so Browtiful Gel
- Oh so Browtiful Pencil
Again as per the sets packaging the product design is on par with it.
The Oh so Browtiful Pencil
The Plouise eyebrow pencil consists of a dual ended eyebrow pencil.
I got mine in the shade ESPRESSO as my eyebrows are the darkest shade of brown as the other shades looked too light.
One end the eyebrow pencil has the eyebrow pigment which is easily dispensed by rotating it.
The tip is very precise and easy to use.
The pigment of the eyebrow pencil has a good colour payoff.
The other end of the eyebrow pencil has a spoolie that you can use to give your eyebrows that natural smokey finish.
How much product is there in the Oh so Browtiful Pencil?
There are 0.16g of product with the Plouise eyebrow pencil.
The Oh so Browtiful Gel
The Plouise eyebrow gel comes in what looks like the packaging similar to the Plouise bases but bigger.
As you open it the applicator is like that of a mascara wand.
The pigment of the eyebrow gel is deep and creates a great effect that is lasting.
How much product is the Oh so Browtiful Gel?
There are 14.5g of product within the Plouise eyebrow gel.
How to use Oh so Browtiful
Using the Plouise eyebrow set is easy. To achieve naturally beautiful eyebrows, simply:
- Draw the line of the lower base of your eyebrows with the Plouise eyebrow pencil.
- Draw the line of the upper portion of your eyebrows.
- So overall, you are drawing the outline of the eyebrow shape you would like.
- Draw hair-like strokes in an upward motion, mimicking eyebrow hairs. Bear in mind that on the end of your eyebrow the hair strokes will be drawn at a 45 degree angle and downwards.
- Then brush the eyebrows with the spoolie.
- Take your Plouise base and add the base to the outline of the eyebrows so that you can give it that crisp look.
- Go in with a light feather movement with the Plouise eyebrow gel.
- Voilà you are done achieving beautiful eyebrows.
If you are new to this, don’t worry! Practice makes perfect.
For those that are blessed with perfect brows, the Plouise eyebrow gel will be your new best friend as you can use it on it’s own to create beautiful feathered eyebrows.
Before and After Oh so Browtiful
As you can see my eyebrows after years of over-plucking they are sparse and uneven.
So I was truly testing the Oh so Browtiful pencil and gel. Unlike those people who do their tutorials with naturally perfect brows.
If like me you suffer from uneven eyebrows this is the real results to using this Plouise eyebrow range.
As you can tell by my before and after shot, the Plouise eyebrow products actually performed better than what I expected.
I always struggle with my brows and with this one I actually didn’t. It was very easy to use and successful at giving me the eyebrows I wish I had naturally.

The Plouise eyebrow products will last throughout your whole day. They have great staying power.
Does the Plouise eyebrow set transfer?
If you press hard enough there is part transfer but they definitely don’t melt off.
How to remove the Plouise eyebrow products?
They are very easy to remove, you can use micellar water or make-up removing wipes.
Oh so Browtiful dupe
This Plouise eyebrow pencil truly reminds me of the Mac Eyebrow Styler in shade Spiced. The only difference is that this eyebrow pencil comes with 0.9g of product whereas the Plouise eyebrow pencil comes with 0.6g.
The Plouise eyebrow pencil is definitely more affordable though. It is actually £4.50 cheaper.
How much is the Oh so Browtiful range?
The Oh so Browtiful set retails at £16.00 but you can also purchase the gel and the pencil separately.
The eyebrow pencil retails at £12.00.
The eyebrow gel retails at £9.00.
You are best off buying the set than purchasing the two separately.
You will find that if you use the eyebrow set everyday you will run out after a month so you will have to repurchase a Plouise eyebrow pencil.
The Eye Brow gel is set to last you a long time so you will only need one every 6 months.
What is the shelf life of the Oh so Browtiful eyebrow range?
To my surprise the shelf life of this Plouise eyebrow set is of only 6 months.
Where is the Oh so Browtiful produced?
The Oh so Browtiful sets are made in China.
Final Verdict
Overall, the Plouise Oh so Browtiful range is very good. I like the eyebrow finish it gave my brows and how easy it was to use.
If you have really bad eyebrows this is a good addition to your eyebrow routine.
The only criticism I have is how little of the product there is in the Plouise eyebrow pencil. I wish they offered more product within the pencil.
The shade range is very basic in terms of shade inclusivity as it only has 3 different shades.
However as a set it is affordable and suitable for all eyebrow types.
